Having its origins in the modest basement of Dr Joel’s basement, Clear Clinic was born out of a genuine desire to help patients who needed to understand complicated health problems. Initially the clinic functioned during the doctor’s free time as a hobby after his work at Government hospitals. As more patients started to appreciate his services, and started coming from places across the state and even from outside the country, it was decided to expand the clinic. We have functioned at Pongummood at the doctor’s parents’ house.

Later when the  COVID pandemic hit the country, Dr Joel’s Clear Clinic had the dintinction of being the only ENT private clinic in Trivandrum that was still open to the public, even when all others including small hospitals shut down. Even though ENT was the specialty that had the most potential for risk of transmission to the examining doctor, we stood strong and offered help, treating innumerable cases including detecting new cases of cancers among others.

Our philosophy is that ENT treatment shouldn’t be complicated. We strive to explain complicated concepts in a simple way to patients, never talking down to them. We don’t ask you to stop talking or to hurry up. We listen patiently, so you understand your problems clearly, so that when you finally take a decision on your healthcare, be it surgery or medical treatment, that decision is made by you.

Currently, Clear Clinic operates at Chavadimukku. Our upcoming building at Panagappara is in its final stages of construction, and we have to move there in 2025.
